You have 14,000 followers. Your reels get views. Your DMs light up. And you still can't tell me how many appointments Instagram booked you last month.
That's the problem. And if you don't know how to get bookings from Instagram in a way you can actually track, you're not running a marketing channel — you're running a hobby that happens to look busy.
Here's the good news: the content isn't the problem. You're already winning attention. The path from that attention to a paid appointment is broken. That's a plumbing problem, and plumbing is fixable.
Most barbers, salon owners, and spa operators I look at have the same wound. Big active following, near-zero trackable bookings. The leak lives in the gap between the post and the calendar.

Let's do the math so you feel it.
Say you post daily and reach 20,000 people a month across platforms. If just 2% click through to book, that's 400 clicks. If half of those actually book — 200 appointments. At a $45 average ticket, that's $9,000/month.
Now here's what actually happens when the funnel is broken: the link is dead, or it points to your homepage, or there's no link at all and you tell people to "DM to book." Your 2% clickers hit a wall. Maybe 15 of them fight through to book anyway.
Same content. Same reach. The difference between $9,000 and $675 is the plumbing.
Run through this list. You almost certainly have at least three.

1. No booking link at all. Your bio says "DM to book." Every DM is manual labor, happens on your time, and half the people never message twice. You're the bottleneck.
2. A dead or wrong link. The link goes to an old site, a broken page, or your homepage where the booking button is buried. A confused person doesn't book. They leave.
3. Phone-only booking. "Call to schedule." Nobody under 40 wants to call. You just filtered out most of the people who found you online.
4. Inconsistent handles and links across platforms. Your Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook all point somewhere different — or point nowhere. There's no single front door, so attention scatters.
5. Zero deposits and zero attribution. No-shows eat your day, and you have no idea which platform or post drove the booking. You're flying blind, so you can't double down on what works.
Three pieces. That's it. Don't overbuild this.

Same handle, same link, every platform. Instagram bio, TikTok bio, Facebook, Google Business Profile, the caption of your best-performing posts. One front door.
That link goes straight to a booking page — service selected, calendar open, book in under 30 seconds. Not your homepage. Not a menu of six choices. The shortest possible path to a confirmed slot.
A spa doing $30k/mo doesn't need a fancier site. It needs one link that works on every platform and loads fast on a phone.
Charge a deposit at booking — even $10-20 — applied to the service. This does two things: it filters tire-kickers, and it makes the appointment real in the client's mind. People show up for things they've paid for.
A barbershop losing 8 no-shows a week at $40 each is bleeding $12,000+ a year. A deposit stops most of that overnight.
Use a unique tracking link or booking source tag per platform. Now you can see: TikTok drove 60 bookings, Instagram drove 40, Facebook drove 5. Suddenly you know where to spend your energy — and you stop wasting time posting to platforms that produce nothing.
This is the piece almost everyone skips. It's also the piece that turns guessing into a system.
Do this in the next 10 minutes. Open your Instagram on someone else's phone. Try to book an appointment using only what's on your profile.
Time it. Count the taps. Note every point where you had to think, hunt, or give up.
If it took more than 30 seconds or three taps, that's your leak. Every extra tap loses people.
Then do the same on TikTok. And Facebook. And Google. If the experience is different on each — or broken on any — you've found where your money is escaping.
You're doing the hard part. You show up daily, you make content, you build attention. That's the part most owners can't sustain.
Don't let a dead link and a "DM to book" caption waste it. One consistent booking link, deposits, and attribution turn the attention you already have into appointments you can count.

When you're ready to have it built and tracking, that's what we do.
Most SaaS founders treat the free trial as a waiting room. The ones converting at 25% or higher treat it as a structured sales system. Here is how to build that system.
